L’Opera è il patrimonio identitario della cultura musicale italiana. Occuparci di Opera, a causa dell’altissimo livello di professionalità artistica e compositiva che questa forma musicale aveva raggiunto in Italia non sarà facile. Cercheremo di ricondurre il canto dove deve stare cioè al centro dell’evento musicale, cercando di parlare di canto, di tecnica vocale, offrendo ove possibile specifici elementi di valutazione. Proporremo Opere complete nello sforzo di focalizzare l’ascolto anche sugli aspetti di pregio strettamente musicale. Siamo convinti che il contributo in tema di ricerca melodica offerto dall’Opera sia ancora tutto da valorizzare.

Opera is the identifying heritage of Italian musical culture. “Taking care of” Opera will not be easy due to the very high artistic and professional level that this form of music reached in Italy. We will try to return singing where it belongs, meaning the heart of the musical event. We will talk about vocal techniques, singing and if possible, specific elements of comprehension. We will propose Complete Works in order to focus the hearing, even on strictly musical aspects. We are sure that the contribution in terms of melodic research offered by the Opera is yet to be enhanced.
